LOS ANGELES, CA: STORY ANALYST/SCRIPT READER INTERNSHIPS: Literary Department of Talent Agency has openings in Literary Internship program. Available openings for Film/TV/Communications or Playwriting Department College/University Interns to join our Literary Internship program. Interns will learn the art of Readers/Story Analysts and learn to write script coverage.
Film/TV school background preferred.
In addition to reading scripts and writing coverage, interns may review Directors' reels.
Licensed, bonded, SAG Franchised Talent Agency with over 15 years in the business, with divisions in Film/TV,Fashion,Print, Comedy, seeks highly motivated friendly and vibrant READER INTERNS with a clear academic focus on story structure. reading/story analysis and or writing scripts.
This is hands on and great experience in the literary/teleplay/screenplay industry. Exceptional Readers or STORY ANALYSTS may go on to work in creative jobs as Story Editors, Development Executives in the Film and Television industry.
Internship applicants need to be open to direction, quick to learn and fast readers. Superior writing and analytic skills are mandatory. Knowledge of various current television episodic series is mandatory.
Reader Interns must be self-starters, motivated people that are creative and flexible. Prefer students who possess a strong knowledge and interest in film and television, impeccable phone skills, organizational skills, and Internet savvy.
The right candidates will be able to talk about story structure, character arcs, plot points or story points and so on.
Intern Reader candidate sets his/her own hours to coincide with our work schedules.
